The star of this page is RISKKO, a brown nosed little dog with a cute laugh that makes everyone want to join in. He travels a lot and has many friends all over the world; some of them are even singing stars like Pink Lips and Uddelle. RISKKO is developing his show business career. He is a very good rapper, although he sometimes gets into a bit if a mess with the sticky tape and rapping paper.

RISKKO Spends a Spring Day with Robin Huddy

This little bear is RISKKO’s freind Robin Huddy. He lives near a beautiful lake in the mountains. We decided to visit him one Spring Day to help him with his job of tidying up the rubbish and making sure everything is OK for the new flowers.

It was a rather cold day so Huddy and I wore our hats. RISKKO didn’t need a hat because he runs about so much he doesn’t get cold very easily. I took my camera so we can share some of our fun with you. Bolow are some pictures having fun around the lake and playing near the spring flowers.

RISKKO Visits his Friend in the Forest

Vali Umm the forest bear and his house

Vali Umm the forest bear and his house

Deep inside the forest on the Schwarzenberg Mountain lives a mountain bear called Vali Umm. He has a house in the forest and he spends his time helping to make sure the forest paths and bridges are safe for visitors. He also cleans up after people when they are not very tidy.

When he is not busy in the forest he cleans up his house or he plays with his friends. One of his best friends is RISKKO. The brown nosed dog often visits Vali Umm for lunch. When they have lunch they usually sit at a table that has been made out a tree stump. The table is very high and this helps to stop the forest animals from stealing the food.

Sometimes the two friends have a picnic in Vali Umm’s forest garden. This is fun because the squirrels and rabbits often try to take the food. This makes RISKKO laugh and then all the animals in the forest start to laugh too. They love it when he comes to visit them.

All this eating often makes the two friends very thirsty. This is not a problem in the forest because at the end of Vali Umm’s garden is a spring and he has built a special tap on it. This means they can always get fresh water. Fresh water is useful because sometimes the forest flowers can also get very thirsty, especially in the summer time.

After lunch RISKKO often helps to build a tree house. Tree houses are built high up in the forest and Vali Umm uses them to watch the forest animals like deer and badgers without frightening them. It is fun building tree houses and the two friends find lots of wood in the forest. They use this to make the tree houses strong.

Sometimes when the moon and stars are bright the two friends sleep outside in a tree house. This is very interesting because in the night you can hear all the forest animals calling. Often the foxes come out to play with their cubs. In the morning the birds sing in the trees around the tree house. This wakes the two friends up and they make a delicious breakfast.

Because it is cool the morning is a good time for Vali Umm to get on with his work of tidying the forest paths and mending the bridges. Sometimes when there is a heavy rain the bridges may break or the paths may become slippery. This is dangerous for the forest animals especially when they are in a hurry. Vali Umm mends the bridges and he puts extra soil and stones onto the paths to make sure the animals do not slip and hurt themselves.

The two friends work very hard but all the time RISKKO’s unmistakeable laugh can be heard throughout the forest. The animals love it when he visits because he makes them all so happy.

Let me tell you how RISKKO met Uddelle the singing cow.

Uddelle was already very well known for her songs and especially her big hit love song:
“Whenever I think of you, my heart goes moo, moo, moo!”
Uddelle's big singing hit
Normally she sings on her own but one day she decided she would like to sing a duet. So she needed to find a parter. She placed an advertisement in the music magazine ‘Rolling Bone” to advertise for a rapper. She wanted to be the first cow to sing with a rapper. RISKKO saw this advertisement and replied by sending Uddelle a parcel that he rapped himself. Into the parcel he put lots of fresh grass with some daisies and buttercups. Uddelle was so impressed she jumped into her sports car and drove over to see this rapping dog. As soon as she arrived she took RISKKO out for a ride in her car.

While they were out driving Uddelle sang some of here favourite songs and RISKKO joined in with his infectious laugh.
Uddelle told RISKKO how she got her beautiful name. When she was a little calf she always wanted to drink milk from the same teet on her mother’s udder and got really upset when one of the other calves tried to drink from ‘her’ teet. So her Mummy and Daddy decided to name her after her Mummy’s Udder. That is why she was called Uddelle. Here is a picture of her parents, Dorris and Arnold.

RISKKO showed Uddelle the mountains close to where he lived and he also showed her where to find the freshest grass and the most beautiful spring flowers. They tasted delicious. Uddelle, like most singing stars, not only had a very shiny sports car but she could open the roof to let the sunlight in. It was a very sunny day and they had lots of fun driving through the mountains.

Gradually they became very close friends and Uddelle asked RISKKO if he would like to sing with her in the next video. He immediately burst out laughing: “Of course I will, you know I am a famous rapper”. Uddelle remembered how he had so carefully rapped the grass and flowers he had sent her in the post and they both laughed again. They had become best friends. RISKKO then gave her a copy of his first love song. Here is the video

One of RISKKO’s oldest friends is the singing bear Pink Lips.

A long time ago Pink Lips was looking for a guard dog because she spends a lot of time living on her own. She placed an advertisement in the local shop window which said:

Wanted: A strong guard dog with a very loud bark!

RISKKO saw this and quickly contacted Pink Lips to see if he could get the job. As soon as she saw him Pink Lips knew RISKKO was going to be the right guard dog for her.

The thing she liked the most was his little brown nose.

In the meeting she asked him to show her his ‘loud bark’. So he started to make some barking noises but very quickly burst out laughing. RISKKO just can’t stop laughing especially when he is trying to be serious. Then everyone around him starts laughing too.

Pink Lips told him that if they do have any robbers they will probably laugh so much that they will forget to steal anything.

RISKKO is a very practical dog and he knows how to fix many things. One day Pink Lips wanted to go out in her new Italian Sports Car. The car had a roof which folds up but she didn’t know how to make this happen. They looked all over to find the switch to open the roof. Here is a picture of them trying to find the switch.

Then RISKKO found the button and gave it a good push with his nose. All of a sudden the roof of the car began to shake and rattle and gradually it rolled backwards and they could see the sky. Pink Lips said they must go for a picnic. She was so happy she kept singing her favourite song to RISKKO ‘You are my sunshine’. Here is a picture of them sitting on the back of the car with the roof down.

“Hey” said RISKKO, “Why don’t we make a video of me singing my favourite song?”

“Oh yes” said Pink Lips “Maybe we can get Chris to help. He has a camera”.

So we all set out to make RISKKO’s first Video.

Lots of people in the village loved RISKKO’s singing and they said we must put the video onto You Tube.

So now you know the story of RISKKO’s first video on YouTube.

The video quickly became an internet sensation and you can also watch it:

  1. Hallo Riskko

      Chris.
(This german girl thanks RISKKO for introducing her to some of the secrets of her own country and mentions that it would be great if she came across RISKKO during her own wandering trips. She asks where he finds some many nice friends as it would be great to also have such company. I apologized and explained that I haven’t taught RISKKO to write yet – although singing and rapping are already major achievements for a little dog – if you have not done so already please look up RISKKO on You Tube! RISKKO finds most of his friends himself – he has a good nose for this. I have recently published some pictures of RISKKO with a new friend called Sally-Manda: she is black and yellow and loves snuggling with him when he visits the waterfalls were she lives. See if you can find her picture)
