Ever wondered how Vivaldi’s classical masterpieces might have sounded if he had some modern instruments and recording equipment at his disposal? Those of you who follow me on Facebook will know that RISKKO and I set up the VALIUMM #3 recording studio in our Table Mountain pad when we arrived a fortnight before Christmas. Since then we have been busy rearranging classical scores, fiddling with the knobs on multiple synthesizers and bedding in our new sequencing software (guess what Santa bought for Christmas?).

The YouTube video I uploaded this morning is the product of our efforts. It is our interpretation of a baroque masterpiece by one of the classical pop stars – Vivaldi. Yes while the rest of the world was partying last night I was tucked up in bed at 10:00 pm – with my ear plugs in so I would be ready to get up at 5:00 and put the finishing touches on the new video. So without further fuss here it is: Vivaldi’s Summer 3 with Chips as interpreted by the TRANSFORMATES  變 Music Project.

Hope you like it. By the way RISKKO asked me to point out that he did the drumming (guess what he got for Christmas?) XXXX,

Chris (and RISKKO)

  1. A nice version of great piece with a unique ending. Consider posting your link on the I’m A Duggleby And Proud Of It page on Face Book.
